The Paramedic program is designed to prepare Emergency Medical Technicians to provide advanced life support to sick and injured patients. Paramedic is the advanced licensure one must obtain in the State of Michigan to work on an ambulance providing advanced medical interventions.
The Patriot Consortium for Paramedic Education Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs www.caahep.org upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).

Fall 2026 Paramedic Program
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- Class Times: 9am – 2pm
- Class Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
- Enrollment Opens: July 20, 2026
- Enrollment Closes: August 24, 2026

Prerequisites / Enrollment Requirements
- High School graduate, a dual-enrolled high school senior, GED holder, Homeschool Equivalency at the High School level, or college graduate with official college transcripts.
- Provide proof of valid driver’s license.
- Provide proof of Hepatitis B, MMR and Covid vaccinations
- Pre-Program Physical
- Current Drug Screen
- Current BLS Card
- Current Background Check
- Current EMT License
